CollegeScapes - 2 Day State Level Photography Event

CollegeScapes 2019

CollegeScapes 2019, a two-day State level photography workshop, was organized by S. V. Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies, Khorlim, Mapusa – Goa on 5th and 6th February 2019 for the fourth successive year. 57 students from colleges across Goa (including the host college) attended the workshop. The workshop was held in association with Nikon India Pvt. Ltd.

The chief guest of the inaugural function was Shri. Rajtilak Naik, Chief News Photographer, Times of India, Goa Edition.

As a part of the Workshop, a photo contest was organized, the theme of which was “Water – The Elixir of Life”, where the participants used their imagination to depict various aspects and events related to the theme. The First Prize was won by Mast. Sharan S. Sawant from Government College, Sanquelim, in the Second Place came Ms. Pratiksha Prabhudesai from Nirmala Institution of Education and in the third place Mast. Suyash Mapari from Government College, Sanquelim. A Consolation Prize was awarded to Mast. Sachin Naik from GVM’s GGPR College, Ponda. Participation certificates were given to all participants.

 2-day Photography Workshop “CollegeScapes 2018”

CollegeScapes 2018, a two-day State level photography workshop, was organized by S. V. Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies, Khorlim, Mapusa – Goa on 27th and 28th February 2018 for the third successive year. Thirty seven students from colleges across Goa attended the workshop.As a part of the Workshop, a photo contest was organized, the theme of which was “Prosperity”, where the participants used their imagination to depict various aspects and events related to the theme. The First Prize was won by Mr. Aliston Dias, a participant of St.Xavier’s College, Mapusa.

CollegeScapes 2017

CollegeScapes 2017, a two-day State level photography workshop was organized by S. V. Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies, Khorlim, Mapusa – Goa on 14th and 15th January 2017. Twenty-five students from colleges across Goa attended the workshop.

Acclaimed fashion and food photographer Ms. Assavri Kulkarni was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural function of the workshop on Saturday 14th January.

As a part of the Workshop, a photo contest was organized, the theme of which was “Celebration”, where the participants used their imagination to depict various aspects and events in their lives. Sixteen students participated in the contest, and the First Prize was won by Mast. Rohan Fernandes, a student of Rosary College, Navelim. On Sunday 15th January, the participants participated in a Photowalk and hands on session conducted by mentor Mr. Antonio Pacheco.

CollegeScapes 2016

State Level Workshop on Advanced Photographic Techniques

Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies, as a part of its Silver Jubilee Year Celebrations, organized “CollegeScapes 2016”, a State Level Workshop on Advanced Photographic Techniques for students of all Colleges in Goa on 23rd January 2016. Thirty-six students from colleges across Goa attended the workshop.

Mr. Prasad Pankar, an eminent photographer and the brain behind CMYK ACADEMY OF PHOTOGRAPHY, which today is a benchmark in imparting quality education in photography, was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the Workshop.

The technical sessions comprised “FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY AND ADVERTISING” the resource person of which was Mr. Prasad Pankar, “TAKING CINEMATICS TO COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY” conducted by Mr. Antonio Pacheco, another well -known photographer, and  “WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY”,the resource person for which was another eminent person in the area, Mr. Govind Patil.
